More the case of not having a Bus Driver for the half empty bus, which has picked up a few more passengers (for the want of a better word) and dropped of a few along the way, on the road to who knows where?

Coulda! Woulda! Shoulda! The Reds have been the best on paper over the last couple of years and ended the worst. Having said that I’m glad they’ve won the Super Rugby season before it’s started (yay! celebrations yay!) that saves me money and disappointment having to go and watch them play.

Ngamanu is still with the Reds on a training contract. Hunt situation may have played to his advantage in that he may be elevated to the main squad. Saying that, I’d prefer to see him playing rather than Maranta albeit Maranta has an existing contract.

Yes this is the Reds, the breeding ground of rugby union. Where we import our players from other Codes, Countries and States.

All this money talk has nothing to do with BT, and I don’t agree with his decision either. The Reds should be getting rid of the recruiter that has been throwing money around left right and center. Sign them young on a 2 year deal with performance clauses. Sign them old on a 1 year deal with...
I don’t think there is enough value there to put money on you don’t have. The Reds spent three years developing the likes of Ngamanu and Riley and cut them loose, wasted, IMO, money on Maranta’s two year deal and were not interested in Kuridrani. Why would they take on Jooste?

Just watching the Reds (Ewan McKenzie days) play the Crusaders 2011 re-run during the Dubai 7’s break, what a difference 52 000 people in the Stadium.
