'luke holmes playing openside', finally he's on the move out to where he spends most of his time. shame he'll miss the clash with the Marlins next week.
yeah well said. bit rich coming from lily, talking about a coach that lost 35-34 to uni last year (with 14 men for 65 of those minutes when foketi got sent off) and lost his captain hodge with a broken ankle. and fakai chose not to train this year. if thats losing the dressing room, where is his...
It would be a great shame to see L.Holmes picked over D.Porecki for this team. The whole idea of the NRC is for players like Porecki, looking for that opportunity. Wouldn't picking Holmes - a player given numerous chances with Super rugby Clubs be a backward step??
In saying that, let's sit...
Expecting a big year for David Porecki in 2014. Coming off the back of his debut year in 1st grade, which included a good old fashioned scrum duel with Paddy Ryan in the semi final, word from Marlin territory is he has packed on a bit of bulk and is really stepping things up. Look for him to...
exactly my point. sorry i mis used my words. it's not uni rorting the points system. it's the system allowing uni to get away with it. i blame NSW rugby for grading the way they do. as highlighted by the above.
Bruce, you can continue to outline each point here but the real problem is Uni's clear rorting of the player points system. From 1st grade right down to your 3rd grade colts there are players playing under points that they shouldn't. Have you explained the Hangaana situation. Trotting out for...
the 4th grade comp has never had so much air time. even getting a coloumn in the telegraph. well done to gordon 4th's, really putting the competition on the map.
looks like the format for 2012 hasn't suited manly or norths. being a strong club overall and getting in the top half has only been to their detriment. wests and randwick on the other hand have had nothing short of a training run over the last 8 weeks leading into the semis. oh well good luck to...
I suppose the format shouldnt really suprise after the 'split comp' decision this year. Really laughable stuff. I look forward to see what they throw up in 2013. I would be more than confident they won't go with the same format than in 2012. Little wonder the Waratahs are the way they are.
manly 1st grade colts and forshaw last saturday. manly 2nd grade colts at forshaw sunday. Same goes for this weekend. manly first grade at coogee saturday. manly 2nd grade at milner on sunday. Am I missing something here?
So Saturday semi's is teams 2 vs 3. I find it very interesting to see Syd Uni playing on the Saturday in the 2nd grade semi making all 4 Syd Uni teams playing on the same day. Maybe Bruce has an explanation for this??
