Can we at least not have any revisionism or history cleansing, and ensure the inaugural Super Rugby U20 curtain raiser competition 'leader' board (which isn't really a leader board) show the actual result of the competition - that NSW came 2nd?

Gen Blue U20s v Melbourne Rebels U20s

Here's a basic top-line summary of the match on Friday afternoon between the Brumbies and Waratah's Under 20s.
The first half was full of mistakes on both sides. Lots of dropped ball - spilling from the hands at impact during tackles and just basic fumbles or passes too long or behind the...
Max Girdler (6) off on a rampaging run for NSW Gen Blue
Theo Strang (9) offloading to Ryan McCauley (4)
Nice lineout win by Cameron Holt (5) from a Suita Tai (2) throw for the Brumbies
Vuni Fifita (1) crashes into his opposite number Faalelei Sione (1)
Putting on the extra points...
Fair 'nuff. I stand corrected. Thanks for that. It was a really brief piece which had some footage of the match and a pic of the scoreboard - just Burkey talking about it over the vision. No interviews or anything deeper than "wow, look at those scorelines".
Nope. You've gotta play your regular teams. The blowout on the weekend at Milner means Penrith should be in subbies. For and against points make a difference and going easy isn't likely unless everyone else does. Can first grade be canned, like they have done in colts? Penrith aren't just bad...
No, I actually said that it probably wasn't a whinge!:
Anyway, HJ, my apologies. I think perhaps I was superimposing your 'slightly negative' commentary on that fixture over the constant complaining wrt selections on the Aust U20s thread. My bad.
Would like to smoke the peace pipe, based on...
Maybe not a whinge (def: complaining in an annoying or persistent way) but certainly saying this match was a waste of time and they should have done something different.
Anyway, I'm sure Tim and his lieutenants are getting around the grounds through the season and checking out the colts talent.
Are you all serious? I would have thought that any chance for boys to show what they've got, outside of regular pathway channels, would be a good thing. I say good on Tim Rapp and his team for going the extra mile and trying to find the odd few who might have got away. Or identifying boys who...
