Didn't mention them! Remiss of me.
Kalani was assured though delivery somewhat slow - I'd put it to the Defensive ruckwork (on the edge of slowing inappropriately) but he was accurate, played the game plan, and lightning in his runs. A formidible lynchpin for the team. Incredible that Werchon...
How good is it to be thinking like this after beating a Kiwi team that has not been kept scoreless since 1996! And we haven't beaten since (can't find the stat).
Yep better please.
Right now, I know this season has been up and down, but I'm definitely enjoying the Kiss impact and finding the...
Geez this conversation got weird.
1. It does seem a contradiction when major games are scheduled in clash with amateur playing rugby comps. Especially when there is a supposed reassessment going on by RA to reengage with the grass roots. Certainly not a silly statement by a rugby fan on a rugby...
Nice to see a gind out win with a number of starters unavailabe. Nice progress within the team for the fresh players coming in.
Loved how Paisami is travelling, Vunivalu not exactly showing his value but definitely showing his promise. Great to see.
Scrum was up to task mostly, lineout not at...
Still... BPA was a tremendous hooker, his work at the Reds was greatly appreciated. I have wished him all the best to see a "garbo" go to success and then Europe. And we can sure use beefing up our hooker options.
But let's see how he goes.
I think they will. Thought the tackled player was dropping and did so after McReight was committed to an action. But I dont think a card raised to red during a game is going to be dismissed easily.
What an utter disappointing mess that was. can we simply drop the bye next year? There was still some impressive handling and skills, but carrying out a game plan seemed optional, pushing forward defence almost non existant and a scrum that could not adjust to (an admittedly dopey) ref.
Man...
That metric would have to be massively skewed to warrant even considering Kayo and their bosses after anti rugby stunts last time round. Starting position with any negotiation is a red line through that option.
I think it's worse than that hoggy. I would hope that at least that self interest met a minimal of management in support of the grass roots, even if at the detriment of the professional game. I'm unconvinced that has been the case.
We find ourselves in a position where survival may, at least in...
The line outs have been bizarre. Barely a line out not lost by the team with the throw. The defensive work from both teams has been fabulpous but neither can win their own ball consistently.
Some seriously dog-play from the Drua there. Awesome work from the Rebels.
Memory of the match is Daugunu try just before 70min. Unexpected comedy on the back of determined play.
I'm happy recognising that plenty of rugby knowledgable people disagree with me. My point is more that the issue right now is moot. Rugby must survive first, number of teams is secondary.
