Just wondering if this crop of players is the best running around in Australia atm. Is there any hidden talent or talent out there playing Union not league that just can’t get a look in because of selection bias or who you know or have a fantastic manager etc that are stuck at club level. It’s...
We are all keyboard warriors giving our opinions. Like I said it’s just what I saw and felt. Maybe I’m wrong. Who knows. I just think IMO he should have done his time first. That’s where you determine if he’s up to it. Atm he’s not IMO. Good luck to him.
Politics and a good manager. I’m more interested to see if he even gets a start with UQ. If you watch the game he played for UQ this year you kind of felt that the players weren’t happy to have him there. Earn your keep first.
Quite a reality check at Easts. Just wondering if there’s other issues there. I understand injuries but where’s all the players gone. Are they not happy with the coach or just not playing?
Yep sometimes a good manager and a lie can elevate you quickly. There’s always been better 9’s running around in the grind of prem grade. It pisses you of to see these guys get a leg up without even putting in the work
Gee was that a reality check or what. Why don’t you run with momentum. Professional players paid to play not rest. What a dumb approach BT. As for the 9’s. Please learn the fundamentals of the position. Pass, direct, kick. We have 3 half’s that are all identical. Even better go back to club and...
Absolutely agree. Thomas doesn’t even justify selection. Must have something over them. Yet again Sorovi banished. Why? And someone please jam the chewing gum up these young players arses. Absolute disgrace and not a good look for juniors coming through re: mouth guards. Just my opinion but it...
And what is super rugby standard because the current ones aren’t up to it either. All I’m saying is you give these boys the same opportunity as the interstate ones and you will get a return as well as the local support. Some of these boys represented the state at U12’s and progressed through to...
Can’t keep locals if there not wanted. What more can these boys do to get a gig with the Rebels. There’s a few fortunate ones: Ulese, Pone, Hosea. Leota but how about the ones that are pushing claims interstate in Premier rugby. That should be enough to have a crack. But no. Let’s shit on the...
Totally agree. You have to remember the poor fella has had a tough 12-14 months with the loss of his father. Maybe a couple of club games would do him the world of good. Confidence and just plain out enjoying himself. Sometimes that’s all a player needs. Have a bit of fun with his mates.
I personally would like to see them bring some of there pathway talent back. There’s some quality boys around the 21-23 year old mark that are worthy of a crack. I’m personally sick of these interstate players of the same age getting a crack over these boys. What more do you have to do. Good...
They are both terrible. Talk about an armchair ride. These 2 and like a few others in the Reds have received that from Brad Thorn. I said it before and I won’t name names but there are better players around the 21-25 age bracket that are better and do deserve a crack. But it’s all political and...
