The complete lack of patience from the Wallabies was the most frustrating aspect for me even allowing for those two gifted tries. You cannot expect to score tries off every phase but that seemed to be our predominant mindset.
Hats off to the Scots especially for their defensive work and...

Well worth a revisit to alleviate these sombre times:)
Much appreciated, OldColt. Sounds like plenty for the Gordon coaches/players to work on both in the set piece area and in attack.
Their assignment doesn't get any easier next Saturday with their clash against Syd Uni.
Southern Districts had a more difficult draw coming into yesterday's match against Gordon and maybe they were entitled to favouratism, although I didn't see the 40-0 away victory coming.
Having not seen the game I'd be pleased to read any reviews.
That may well be true. However, HJ's contributions (unlike some of us) weren't limited to the myopic prism of his sons' exploits in heaven's game. Ah no, his heavy footprints were cast far and wide across an array of threads & topics.
Lee Grant mentioned elsewhere that HJ was involved with...
Easy to disregard that enquiry, Just checked the Gordon website (should've checked before posting ;)) and read that the trials today were cancelled due to the weather. Hard to gain any wet weather experience in Sydney.
Great team effort. Very committed in defence throughout. Agree that they deserve much more media exposure (I know that G&GR excels in this dept).
Charlotte Caslick, in particular, was immense throughout. There's fantastic team spirit within this women's side - hope it's inspirational for the men.
Well done to both the southern hemisphere finalists, playing for Olympic Gold!
Just caught a replay of the Oz v Canada SF. Apart from a few nervous moments with the ball, Oz defence was very willing and impressive one on one tackling the key to bustling Canada into error.
Should be a...
Agreed and we've seen more than one player prove his class at national level during Cheika's reign and I suspect, if given the chance, Hunt will add to that record.
Shoremen v Highlanders deferred and present indications are that it'll be played on Tuesday night. Suspect that we won't see much action around the grounds today.
Seen Jack Mc turn in some neutral performances in the wet. He can take control of a match though. He wasn't awarded the 2015 RUPA medal as the best player in the final of the Australian Schools Rugby Union Champs on reputation alone. Looking forward to seeing him back in action in '17.
That was a tremendous game. View had a try disallowed in the 1st half when McGregor put through a well placed grubber and Hutchison flashed through only to be ruled offside. Many there, including Shore supporters, thought Hutch was onside - the reality is that he was so quick the man with the...
