NRC Round 7: Melbourne Rising vs Sydney Rays

It's a glorious day in Melbourne for the game, I'm hopeful it will be a good contest and Rising will rise for the win.

    Reds 2019

He sure didn't leave MRRU with a reputation for developing talent. The young players in particular who had been signed on with untold potential were crushed and many have gone on to other clubs and are now blossoming. I hate to say it, but the psyche of the young male often does not respond well...

    Reds 2019

I have in the past asked the serious question: What happens to QLD rugby players after they leave school because QLD rugby has in the last few years under performed , yes, I know, NRL etc, but I have to wonder why you would put Tony McGahan in charge of nurturing your young rugby talent -...

    Rebels 2019

In other news, and entirely unrelated, the Rebels motor bike group came to Melbourne today. I say this is totally unrelated, but I do remember quite a few years ago, maybe 2013 when we had a Rebels rider on a Harley lap the field before the game - anyone remember that?

    Rebels 2019

Ok , I know the wallabies lost but next year , with nine wallabies in our team , I have a feeling that we will be the team to beat - at very long last .

    Rebels 2019

It wasn't so much that I didn't take the time to understand what Legacy were doing, it was more that I couldn't find their website or their contact details or anything at all about them except the limited press release from the Rebels website and that did not clearly state that the sponsorship...

    Rebels 2019

I'm not sure I follow you. If LPG close up shop, then there is no two year sponsorship deal any more, right?

    Rebels 2019

Rebels major sponsor , Legacy Property and Investment group, noted on ASIC as "strike off action in progress" - what does that mean in terms of next year's sponsors? Any one heard any thing?

    Rebels 2019

but do they have a new back of jersey sponsor to replace Fuso? LPG, ICS, Massey Ferguson, BLK, PFD and Yakult do seem like a good swamp of sponsors. Will it be enough to balance the books? Are there any other sponsors in the background waiting to sign up? Any whispers about now that NRC is...

    Melbourne Rising 2018

Our three home games are Adelaide, Geelong and Ballarat - don't think too many Rising supporters will be travelling on that road trip - so much for local community engagement
