    Queensland Reds 2024

I disagree. HMP has already played way more first grade games than Lynagh. He's played almost 2 years already for souths prems. Comparing him to Lynagh is apples and oranges. Do you want the 10 who manages the game and kicks well, or do you want the guy that will wins games on his own and is the...

    France v Wallabies (RWC Warm-up), 28/8 1.45AM AEST

Who else is a candidate for the 22 jersey? If Donaldson isn't picked, then who is the back up 10? McDermott? White?

    Wallabies 2023

What side of the scrum does Jermaine Ainsley play on? Is he a tight head? Would be a better option than Pone and Nongorr. Should still be eligible as he's only played Maori All Blacks

    Qld Premier Rugby 2023

Really? Just watched it just then, clearly the norths player hits him directly in the head with his shoulder, with force, with no mitigation. There's only one result likely to happen.

I watched the u19s NRC game over the weekend, and some colts games through the year, does anyone else think Harry McLaughlin Phillips might be better than them both? P.S Am a souths supporter so might be a little bias

Who has Dampers brought into the souths team apart from Luke Samoa who is past his prime. Just since his appointment, he's lost Rhys Van Nek, Callum McDonald, Kalani Thomas, Lukas Ripley, a host of colts to east's and a number of other players. The majority of the prem grade side he's brought...

Another issue is that super rugby contracted players are only allowed to play 1st grade unless they have an exemption which is why Vudogo and Skelton came off the bench against brothers. This means they have to play prems and its a waste for the club to have them consistently off the bench...

I think Hudson was better in 1st grade last year than he ever was in colts. He was unexpectedly the best back in that brothers side last year. Definitely best at 12 and has a huge left footed kick

I was a little disappointed by Carter, I assumed he would've filled out a little more and he failed to kick the ball out twice off of a penalty - although he probably hasn't played a game in ages so some teething problems like that are expected. Exceptional defensively though

Interesting that Kalani Thomas is making his first grade debut against the club (Souths) that didn’t think he was good enough for first grade. This shall be interesting If only west’s had their full backline: 9. Sorovi 10. Henry 11. Vunivalu 12. Paisami 13. Droasese 14. Daugunu 15. Petaia...

I think I’ve seen Kuridrani in some Instagram pics so I think he’ll be there. That’s means with Auva’a, Tasi Tasi and Kuridrani just to name a few, there’s going to be some elite backline match ups this year and I for one will be very happy to them from the sidelines

Who have GPS recruited and what's made you think it's their year.....except for obviously being a club fan. For brothers, getting Kirisome Auvaá as well, that's gonna be an elite backline with the Creighton brothers and likely Flook for most of the year.

Mason actually played against Souths the week after as well in colts and went off injured after 20 minutes. Didn’t look overly impressive with a pretty good backline including the Vaihu brothers but it’s always tough coming into a side and expecting everything to be cohesive

If you’re not recruiting into colts then where do you start your recruitment from? If you breakdown the players as well: Van Nek -> Easts -> left for a great opportunity that panned out Gerard is no longer player footy Lea moves to Sydney Big Mac played well enough to get an extended squad...

With trials starting next week, anyone got any predicted line ups for sides?

    Reds 2021

Most of these were as expected though looking at their schools. The only one I’d question would be John Bryant. I thought he was at Souths this year?

What about Nick Chapman as well?? What does he have to do to get a contract? Surely he’s better than Sorovi and Thomas

    QLD Premier Rugby 2020

Absolutely agree on a lot of those points. However they only needed to score a try (didn’t need the conversion) to go through. It’s the side with most tries firstly I believe. Couple of lower grades came down to this

    QLD Colts 2020

This is a pretty awful list. Dalton and Sayers have barely played colts 1 this year as there are better players at the own clubs little own the whole comp. How you can pick more guys from a GPS side that won two games over every other side is beyond me

    QLD Premier Rugby 2020

Can someone explain the bonus points system for this comp? I thought it was if you lose by 7 or score 3 or more tries but the numbers on the ladders aren’t adding up
