    CAS Rugby 2017

Waverly lad was sensational and had to be a 10 our of 10 performance. Taking on the line at the right time, getting the ball to runners at good angles, kicking game was brilliant. I thought the Knox lad was overwhelmed by the occassion and some poor choices. Probably a bad day in the office...

seriously it wasnt that bad. Old boys just enjoying the moment when Knox seriously underimpresses aside from the big fella frost. Lots of reputations were left in tatters from Knox - esp given the investment they have made. Stories from boys about selections which are bizarre, players dropped...

Barker were held up over the line a couple of times from memory - but agree had alot of possession v Waverly Against Knox Barker dominated through all games excluding the thirds. Just felt that these local games bring out the best of the boys. Without being too critical i felt that the Knox...

I see that Byron is in the shadow squad for opens Nsw . It seems a little disappointing perhaps that he may have been a shoe in for 16s and yet may miss out totally

    CAS U16s 2016

One would hope that if the boys are competitive against gps or indeed win (can we dare to dream) that higher rep honours for more than one or two of our boys is possible! If not then CAS would have a right to have a whine

Gee the number 10 is playing well for CAS as well. Agree that 14, 10 and 4 are playing extremely well in a team that is all doing 11 out of 10

Agree though that the step up for the boys confronting a rampaging Titmuss and Bell will test them

When you think about the skill level in CAS backrowers - there is a high number of solid backrowers - a number of them could be picked ahead of others on any given day - they all offer mobility ahead of size. So strategy has to be thought through.

    CAS U16s 2016

You know at the end of the day congratulations to the boys selected. Despite us experts a lot of boys will be happy campers and one can assume that the selectors only judged the boys on merit. Well done all lads selected . Now go give it your best shot
