I've always understood that (oddly) it is in fact the home team that gets the priority for the alternate strip, based on the tradition that it was easier for home sides to organize them rather than the visiting (or usually touring)...

Does anyone know if there is live commentary (not blog posts) of the Aussie games? Here in the US and have subscribed to online live coverage, but dreading an objective commentary - even worse if it was by my Seppo bretheren. Need jingoistic, fiercely pro-Oz calling. Or at least Southern Hemisphere.
Haven’t got too much to go on other than some highlights against Ireland and Wales in the pre WC warm up (and last year’s series), but I reckon England will be our bogey team rather than the Blacks. We love playing the ABs and kind of know how to play them (10 straight losses notwithstanding)...
