Here are the eligibility rules ) A player will be eligible to play in any semi-final, preliminary final or grand final if he has been in the run on team, or played as a fresh reserve, for the club at least one third (1/3) of the regular competition matches in that grade and/or any lower grades...

    QLD Colts 2019

Agree although don't be surprised if margin is a bit wider than than this. Sunnybank had no answers for UQ last week and given Brothers managed a draw with the Dragons there could be a couple of tries gap

QRU guidelines have been met and Logan will be in Colts 1 & 2. Draw out shortly

Round 2 results were within 10 pts of predictions so lets see how we go with Round 3. SEC vs Villa - Both teams put in respectable performances last week without getting the result. Villa were very disappointed to to get over the line against SLC and had obviously set themselves for that...

SLC v VILLA - Definitely match of the round. Will be a close contest but expect SLC to be a class above which should see them over run Villa in the 2nd half. SLC by 12 PAD v SEC - Better effort than expected by SEC last Saturday although Padua will have way too much firepower. Could get ugly...

Any update on the seriousness of the knee injury to the MCA captain? Will be a real pity to see him ruled out for a number of games given his form.

Any confirmation on a time for the trial against State High Thursday?
  9. Q

    AIC Rugby 2017

Agree its about getting the right balance so they should be like a match hardened club side mid way through a season. The good signs are they have either won or been very competitive in the trial games to date and it hard to train for the positive mindset you get from winning games. Ashgrove...

Based on yesterday's performance Pats are in for a world of pain against State High next week. Forwards were lackluster and backline made no penetration. Were exposed with pace out wide which Stae High have plenty of. Unless they are holding back for the regular season not much light ahead.

Probably 90% correct although if Campbell Brown plays in front row then more likely Van Zealand at 5 & Channels flanker. Interesting to see who gets the 10 spot. I would think Croft has the advantage playing Firsts last year but may depend on trial form? Wakka plays 8 in the 2nds and Cooper...

This will be a good game if you are a Ash supporter. Peters aren't that good. They beat two bottom teams, lucky to get over the line against Lauries and were then found out against Pats. Ashgrove by 24

I agree with your comments on Lauries 16A side and what this means for next year. There are also a number of players in the First XV who are in Year 11 this year getting valuable experience. Also should have mentioned the #8 for Lauries 16A
