Started at prop for the mighty 13bs by 15 much to my disgust got put into lock and back to bs and there I stayed. Finished my career lacklustre career at no 8 and every I game I thought how good is this
Only caught the first 10 min but was surprised by the quality of Vic backline. Would like to see what they could produce with better preparation and a couple more games under the belt.
Look let's face it do you really want the ARU overly involved in GPS, CAS or any other of the top tier schoolboy comps. They are doing a great job without them
My point in asking about schoolboy funding was the country club system fails outside of the big regional centres. If the ARU could pass...
Does anybody know what ARU gives in funding to schoolboy rugby.
I know the metropolitan clubs have strong junior comps but for regional juniors there's very little past 14s in small towns
So it's boarding school if you want to keep playing it and lets face it most country parents can't afford...

Christ I used to hate Stannies but age melos and its good to hear that there doing so well. Hard to believe there was time when a Scots Bathurst vs Stannie fixture would be 4 grades in opens and few thousand spectators.
