You must have been at a different game. I have never seen Papworth do anything like you say and i doubt he did that. The things I have heard supporters of BGS say about TSS and their boys over the years are appalling. Bad losers who ring other schools with fanciful stories . Think this may be...
Dempsey, the BBC 9 left TSS after Grade 7 and should be in Grade 12 this year.
Did BBC hold him and others back or had he repeated before he got there?
He and his father have had a problem with TSS since not getting in A teams at TSS in junior school when they thought he should be. Dont think BBC will be winning GPS over TSS.
Perkins is every A team since at least 14's.
Fittock I believe may have come from Altstonville High in northern NSW and I think that may be the same school as hooker Jake Lyon.
If all this talk of repeaters at TSS related to boys in Grade 12 last year the fact is that only 2 players were in Grade 12 last year. Mitch Third spent a lot of the season out with injury so you could hardly begrudge him another crack at it. I heard this talk at Terrace last week but the team...
Yeh sorry you are right, I misread it. I think Third will get Qld gig too though. His games in the trials against BBC & BGS showed how much he has improved. His reading of the game is as good as any 10 around. I think he will also have no shortage of TSS boys around him that know each very well.
Jake Lyon , the hooker was a standout and certainly is!
Papworth was also a standout and there are a few others that will stand up this year for Southport!
Lots of depth at TSS
