I think its more the schools 1st XV teams dont want to risk injury on a game that doesnt count for points. I feel bad for downlands having to deal with that but thats the way it is.
I enjoyed watching the BGS vs BSHS game today untill the last quarter of the game.
State high were not only getting away with murder at the breakdown but were granted field position (penalties) from it. Utterly ridiculous refereeing ruined a very competetive game. Also the state high player who...

It would be dumb to put him in for the last game of the season not knowing moves etc and not game fit. Its the biggest game of the season and the team isnt broke, so don't fix it.
I think all of this talk about the final should cease. It surely puts more pressure than is needed on the players involved. Talking about it on here is pointless, we will see on the day who is the better rugby team and what should be one of the most fantastic games of GPS rugby ever.
Next two games should be good - Hoping to see a win from bgs on saturday for a cracker of a final at Ross oval the week after.
Best of luck to all involved.
Definitely going to agree with you on this one. If a team is making mistakes at the breakdown etc, then they deserve to have points put on them. Its all about discipline and structure which is clearly lacking in some schools coaching.
Its heinous that you put the win in the hands of Matthew, while he was that scored the try it wasn't a 1 man try and to not give props to the rest of the team is blatantly dumb.
You need to stop posting on behalf of Grammar so often because half of what you say is inaccurate.
I agree with you, Tooms. But then again what kind of coach would subject a front row that isnt trained for scrums to compete in live scrums!?
Thats just asking for injury.
That's a pretty slanderous and pitiful comment to make about any team / person.
Clearly youre just having a go at grammar because they have transformed their squad from a team that lost 103 - 0 to BSHS - to a team that is in serious contention this year.
