I am highly confused. Is the Australian Schoolboys Team just announced the highest representative honours available for schoolboys? Lots of missing names like Tonga and Sharples etc.
Completely correct. This has been a long standing issue at Newington (last year for example had an amazing back line on paper and so did 2021). Unsure why the coaching staff haven’t picked up on it.
Just seen GPS teams. I’m a Newington Old Boy with some family members at King’s so a few observations:
1. King’s who are leading the Comp and may go undefeated have 5 boys in GPS 1s and Newington who have only won 2 games has 4 boys selected.

The King’s winger Aadesh (I think). Is he a GPS sprinter? Seems this is his second year playing 1sts but haven’t seen him in GPS Aths or any GPS teams but seems to complement their more ‘famous’ winger Tonga quite well.
Grammar is so self deprecating they even have their own anti war cries.

For those who still want more schoolboy rugby SA Western Cape school boy derby Paarl Boys vs Paarl Gim currently live streamed on YouTube. SA schools rugby has to be the most competitive in the world. The under 16As of Paarl Boys, Bishops, Michaelhouse etc play at the standard of 1st XV of Joeys...
