Depends if you mean from the start of the season (not always possible) or from Term 1 onwards (more likely) when boys new from mid-late Year 10 or arriving into Year 11 have had the chance to go on January camp and fill those seats. Mostly it's Kings, Joeys and View who have the numbers for all the IVs plus 3rd VIII.

In a related question, when will the GPS validate 3rd VIII category and give it full status as a lightweight race with a trophy of its own?

Lets not forget about st Augustines also within a second of Shore in both races. From what I've heard they're quite a young crew so good to see some competition from outside GPS

Good to see St Augustines getting some great results and taking on the GPS schools.

Only going by times and comparing crews the boys were in last year, it doesn't seem to be the most competitive of years. Riverview look to be the favourites based on the latter.

So is there for the taking......let's see how it unfolds

i have heard from a few people that Riverview was never going to race yesterday. They wanted to see what shore was like so they can beat them again
