Well, it's happening now. Movie goers out there who do you want to win best picture?

I gotta say The Hurt Locker should win it, I thought it was hands above Avatar. I liked Inglorous Basterds quite a lot, was another one of my favourite movies for the year.

Best movie I have seen recently is The Road - hard to watch but superbly done. Not nominated for anything so I presume not eligible or something like that?
I don't want Avatar to win on principle, but from what I've heard the Hurt Locker sounds very good. The shorts certainly are full-on!!

The Hurt Locker won both Best director, and Best Picture. Great movie, and thoroughly deserved it.

Would recommend seeing it to anyone.
