Ashes on TV

So it seems the Ashes will be on GEM free to air and on Foxtel it will only be on HD channels.

I don't have an antenna for free to air HD TV and I only have non-HD foxtel channels (IQ) so I am screwed right?

Or am I missing something?

It's on Foxsports 2 and Foxsports 2 HD so you should be fine.

That's according to the online Foxtel guide that is.

Ah. Phew.

This morning the guide wasn't showing it.

I was sort of hoping I wasn't going to be able to watch but now that it's there I simply have to. Damn.

Pretty sure SD and HD are always in synch in FoxSports. I recorded rugby on SD once and thought I needed to get my eyes checked or my TV replaced...

But yeah, their management of the guide is shit.

I like that Channel 9 missed the first ball of the Ashes.

I particularly like that I was watching Foxtel and only had to read about it.

I would have gone ballistic if I hadn't seen the first ball (even if it was a wide). What a ridiculous stuff up.
