Guys, this is the ARU Positivity thread. Rules for this thread are on page 1.

Save the non-positive constructive advise to one of the other threads - ARU governance review, ARU Financial Situation or the ARU Participation Numbers would cover most areas :)

A good positive post about Sharpie being engaged as a Wobs Coaching advisor, but that probably belongs in the Wallabies Positivity Post.

This post is purely to be positive about Rugby Central.

The ARU are even doing market research on the attendees of Saturday's match

Just like a real business

It was good to see that ARU had a plan B in place in the event that the Head Coach offered to resign prior to their contract ending.

It is also good that this contingency plan was executed without any undue panic.

It was awesome of the ARU HPU to schedule the ASRU Schoolboys competition in the July sunshine and not the wet and muddy June conditions.
Controlling the Weather - what is next for the Pulveriser?

We haven't fallen to fifth place in the Australian winter sport pecking order. Although the netball seems to get a lot of television coverage!

There is a real sense of excitement about what Ewen's appointment will mean for Aust Rugby among a lot of long time Wallaby supporters.
He is firm, calm and inclusive.
We finally have a coach who thinks knows we can beat the All Blacks.
The Kiwi's would rather that Deans was still in charge.
Our scrum can only get better.
Players will be accountable for their actions and behaviour.

1. The ARU has appointed a new Wobs coach.
2. The ARU is about to replace all their Physios with Osteopaths.
(HJ, that's not sarcasm, that's Mr Doug's optimism)!
3. My final positive is the plethora of young, talented players we have in Australia.

The Suncorp crowd really belted out Advance Australia Fair last night. Almost didn't need the backing music.

Well, there's an opportunity to save money, right there. Next time, no backing music.

And on a semi-related - and positive - note: ARU is to be commended for the absence of enraging and infantile ground announcers at Suncorp. The presence of such materially detracts from my enjoyment of Reds' games at the same ground.

At least It can't get any worse.... Until
Next week

And it will, the Pumas were pretty good yesterday. A lot better than us. Their scrum is probably better than the Bokke. (They were outweighed 75 kgs or so by the Blcks, and still more than held their own). Great technique, and lots of practice.

Our cricketers are crap. Out Soccer team is a shambles one year out from a World Cup. We're not alone, that's gotta be a positive.

I'm very worried. Going off this weeks performances we would lose

How's that working out for you? ;)
