Vaea will need a good time to get back in shape, he looked pretty over his previous playing weight in the NRC. But, good luck to him.

True, but he wasn't able to do any training at all when he was out with the blood clots so that was probably his 'pre-season'

Good luck too him, hopefully get him fit and playing then come back after the WC for a tilt at 2019

Surely a factor. Never going to overtake Moore without getting game time and no player grows up wanting to be a reserve provincial hooker.

The Brumbies are announcing something contract related tomorrow - not sure if it's a new signing or extension of an existing player

After this season you can probably have Robbie Abel back. He'll end up being replaced by the Ginger Ninja, Harry Scoble, unless Tessman leaves.

Or could we get Nathan Charles back? Seems odd that the Brumbies have supplied so many hookers to other provinces, some when the province was in desperate need because of injuries, but the favour didn't seem to be returned this year when the Brumbies/Vikings finished with none of their top three No 2s.

Can't blame the kid for wanting to go home and looking for game time. we will be alright Moore and Bongo while we train up the next superstar.

It be nice to have the lord here too watch over the forwards development though. The Vikings NRC form didn't give me the confidence in our new Forwards coach.
