The CEO was on the radio this morning and one of the things he mentioned was that the interim draw he'd seen does not have any matches clashing with other events like the Show and Skyfire which can only be a good thing.

Good, means no excuse with crowds and good for the piggy bank. Shame he cant organise a lid for the Brumbies play pen so we all don't freeze!

Dan Palmer anyone? But seriously, can Peter Kimlin be enticed back? Was close to Wallaby selection last year and can cover 3, 5, 6, and 8. Would like to see Rowan Perry from Aus U20s get a go to back up Poey, and would also like Rathbone to saddle up again. Presume Iona will get a gig next year after his involvements in Club 10s and off the bench for the Brumbies. Other options will probably come to the fore during the NRC.

Giving Perry a run would be a good thing. What about some of those lesser known forwards we sent to the Singapore 10's?

Thanks BJ so what happens to the guys signed for EPS now they have dumped it ?

I guess they move into the full time squad and take the place(s) of those leaving. e.g. Dowsett signed a new deal and Hoffmann is out.

EPS deals were only for one year anyway.

Sean Doyle? Think of Beau Robinson.

Staniforth will make a major impact sooner than is thought.

THP Allan A to start his rise to a Wallabies' spot down the track.

Grab hold of Jordan Jackson-Hope. Never heard of him? I think you will.

Any news or whispers of next Assistant Coach to come in ? Or other signings ? Maybe waiting for the NRC to play out.

Whilst its good that the brumbies have maintained the core of their playing group, the depth looks to be a serious issue, do any of you guys have an idea who will come into the Squad?

New arrivals so far are Nigel Ah Wong and Sean Doyle and I believe Tom Staniforth, Michael Dowsett and Allan Ala'alatoa have been upgraded to the full-time squad. I think the plan is to see who shines in the NRC before filling the rest of the squad.

A guess at the line up for round one next year, assuming everyone is fit:

1. Sio
2. Moore
3. Alexander
4. Fardy
5. Carter
6. Fotu
7. Pocock
8. Butler
9. White
10. To'omua
11. Tomane
12. Lealiifano
13. Kuridrani
14. Speight
15. McCabe

16. Siliva
17. JP Smith
18. R Smith
19. Staniforth
20. Smiler
21. Dowsett
22. Coleman
23. Mogg

Just thinking, the Brumbies may also have room for a marquee player, as I think Murphy was technically using up that spot (in the very loosest sense of the word 'marquee').

And also room for another foreign development player, now that Speight will be Australian qualified.

So who should we be grabbing from overseas? Probably a lock or a number 6/8.

You prefer Butler at 8 and Fotu at 6? Surely Fotu can't be that bad at the back of the scrum?
Can Butler be a line-out option too?

wouldnt change a thing in that starting lineup other than perhaps switch Fotu and butler

Ideally I'd have Fardy at 6, and Fotu and Butler sharing 8 (and throw in Vaea there somewhere if he ends up playing again). But depth at lock seems painfully shallow, so unless Staniforth can get up to speed quickly I'm guessing Fardy will be mostly used in the second row.

There could be young ones coming through from the U20's Oz side besides Staniforth. Powell and Perry??? (9&7) And also NRC guys I imagine?
