I came up with a theory,

Australians don't like being told what to do and often go out of there way to do The opposite,

Therefor make the official chant of the Wallabies, Silence.

By promoting silence, people will take to cheering and cheering will lead to chanting.

Heard this on a blurry Saturday night, from the Scots/Irish:

What's it like to?
What's it like to?
What's it like to shag a Queen?
What's... it like to shag a Queen?

And when Nathan Grey cut Brian O'Driscoll in 2.

Oh that was quality fearless rugby.
Seeing a very busy 20 year old George Smith plus the highly involved Owen Finegan cemented my thoughts on why we did so well from 1998-2003. Well directed fully committed skilled forwards. Smith/Finegan's effective work at the breakdown to win turnover ball, demonstrates the key part of the Wallabies winning rugby game. To win against the likes of O'Driscoll this Sunday we require courageous work by all forwards to deny themm possession.

I let rip with the the Paddy version of the same song at the Ireland game. Got a few more backing me than when i was yelling "You're just the shit part of England". My pussy mates just left me to do it about 50 times on my own.

Out of sheer desperation in retort to the Barmy army chant of; Get your shit stars off our flag.
We came up with; Get your shit saints off *OUR* flag, plus some bright fellow fanatic knew the names of all three saints and went on to make up nasty little chants about them. We did have to pay hommage to the beer gods that day for getting us thru so much singing. :yay

I haven't heard the crowd noise yet, will watch the replay later.

That's awesome though. I'll take no credit, if that's why your implying.

Either:
A) A lot of supporters read the GAGR forums
B) The GAGR forum readers are vocal types with influence
C) It was spontaneous

I think our new national hero, needs a chant: Maybe a bit of ACDC?

To the tune of 'Thunderstruck':
"Bam Bam, na na na na na na na na na na, Bam Bam"
Repeat
Awesome. Could this work....

Bam Bam, so fucking strong at the breakdown, Bam Bam.....

even if it became

Aus - sie na na na na na na na na na na, Aus - sie

It would sound so much better than that "ole" one.

We did the Aussie Ole one at the Kingslander before the Irish game, it went off in the smoking area.

I actually meant saying Ole.

In all honesty I only just got what you meant by "Aussie Ole" saying Aussie instead of Ole. That works.

@Jason, that is gold. Especially their Wayne Barnes tune at 3.25 :D

...................

When JOC (James O'Connor) is goalkicking:

"When James O'Connor, goes marching in
Oh when James goes marching in
Oh how I want, that kick to go over
When James O'Connor goes marching in."

I suppose it is more of a 'robot' than a march though.
