That should read GAGR users who have the Alexa toolbar installed come from ...

It's an interesting breakdown, however through it's design the Alexa rankings are heavily weighed towards web literate users.

US users are often over-represented in these stats depending on how well search robots are filtered out.

Perhaps Gagger will share the stats he gets through Google Analytics, as these will account for all users of the site.

Guys,

Here are a few stats for you, you might have to right click and "view image" to see the graphs.

The Blog

The Forum (note, only 2 days worth of data as analytics just installed)

You'll notice that the blog gets more new visitors than the forum, but you would expect (and want) that. The forum readers though spend more time per visit, read more pages and are less likely to "bounce" (fuck off after one page). Again as you would hope and expect.

I haven't put visitor numbers into this open forum, but the blog does seem to get considerably more visitors/eyeballs. Below is a trend chart of weekly visitors since Feb. In short we are kicking ass with a monthly growth rate of 50%

Thanks to everyone for doing their bit, even if its just putting in your 2c.

If you want to do more, then putting the headline animator into your signature at other forums would be great if you feel comfortable with it (the headlines are from the blog, not the forum). Just click on the "grab this headline animator' link.

Thanks

Just point out that we have Bakkies on our side.
That will be the first one they'll click, make no mistake.

Manie Reyneke have gave the forum 40 test tickets for free for saturdays test. Flippen nice www.transvaal.co.za

I mean its R1,400 x 40 = R56,000 for their forum posters to go to Ellispark and watch the test live. :yay

At least GMan also included.

Was dicking around in Alexa http://www.alexa.com/ which tracks performance of websites.

Thought I'd compare G&GR to a few similar sites - The Roar, Heavensgame and TSF (DaimenHutchinson.com).

Below is what I got.

Bounce rate is how many people leave the site after looking at just one page (lower bounce rate, the better)

We've got this far and the board has remained civil, informative and a good laugh. Top work everyone who helped acheive this.
