Just thought I would plonk details of an Event that I am part of the Organising committe on here for you all to see. Has absolutely nothing to do with Rugby, but is a bit of fun and good food. (And hard work for the organisers).

OK... Every two years the Australia Camp Oven Festival is held in the thriving metroplis of Millmerran on the Darling Downs. (80k south west of Toowoomba on the way to Goondiwindi.)

What is it all about - well camp oven cooking and keeping alive our heritage customs and skills, as well as bush poetry and music.

This year it is on the 6 & 7th of October.
