Here is the list for Rugby League CIS team. How do Augustines breed so many good footballers?? Quite a fair few ISA boys in this team. 5 Augustines and 2 Oakhill. Some are having a crack at both Rugby reps and League. 2 from this list have made higher honours in the Rugby reps. Don't know if they have to choose or if they can play both? I know Papenhuyzen, the Oakhill fullback, played fullback for NSW under 18's in the recent Origin in MLB. Shame he didn't choose to front up for the Rugby reps.

Would have been interesting to see how Papenhuyzen would have gone if he had trialled for Rugby instead, maybe three Oakhill lads this year?

Stannies defeated Knox today 33-29. Both teams missing / resting players however was a very entertaining and physical match. Knox game tomorrow at Orange against Kinross cancelled due to snow forecast.

What a stop start season it has been.
It is time for ISA Rugby to follow ISA soccer and go to a proper home and away season with semis and finals.
Drop the meaningless "trial" games and if it means Pius dropping to 2nd Div, so be it.
I know the school won't like it but many of the parents are questioning the value of getting smashed every week.

With reports on the radio this morning of 300 mm + of snow in some parts of Bathurst, The Great Western Highway closed, general slop around Sydney, one wonders how much footy will get played tomorrow. Will Kinross, Stannies be able to travel across the mountains, and will Chevalier be able to get through to All Saints in Bathurst?

18/7 round 4
Augies v St Gregs (Campbelltown), Augies by 25
Stannies v Oakhill (Castle Hill), Oakhill by 15 (Will the visitors be able to visit?)
Kinross v St Pius (Oxford Falls), Kinross by 30 (Will the visitors be able to visit?)
St Pats v The Bye

Round 7 - 18 July:
Redlands vs Redfield - Macquarie Uni Fields, Marsfield, Redfield by the Mercy Rule.
All Saints vs Chevalier - Bathurst (Will the visitors get there. At least they will be used to cool conditions), Chevalier by 10-15.
St Andrews vs Central Coast - St Andrews College Oval, Camperdown, St Andrews by <7.

HJ, St Augs are playing at St Gregs, Campbelltown.
I think transport will be ok.
Some teams are playing Chev and Oxley though, that's not looking too good at the moment for transport.

Stannies and Kinross not looking very good at all. Certainly if the roads are open
the parents and players will need more than a hot chocolate at the game to keep them warm!

Roads over The Divide should be open by later today if not tomorrow LiveTraffic app shows GWH shut in small sections along Bells and GWH but conditions are improving and meant to clear up with no further snow expected so I would think that the lads from Orange and Bathurst should be able to get through in the morning. All part of the adventure anyway!

You've got to admire the logistics that go into ISA Rugby. Getting regular matches week in week out against comparable opposition must be a massive task in itself and then you factor the travel with it.

Good work sportsmasters

That's an early call ^^^^^^^^^ don't know whose idea that was???
As LiveTraffic is showing that both routes over the Mountains has officially been opened this afternoon.

It was a Kinross call, they had concerns about travelling.
I believe there is more snow forecast for tonight/tomorrow

Most of the Stannies vs Oakhill games at Castle Hill are cancelled but at this stage the 1sts and 2nds are still going ahead
