    A massive rumour coming out of NZ that we've picked up Jerry Collins.

    Would be a one year contract most likely.

    They've already got Delve, Higginbum, and Jones. They need a 7, not another 6/8.


    Having said that, it would be great to see Jerry Collins back on the field, for an Australian franchise.

    Jones is an interesting discussion. You'd imagine Neville & Pyle will be the starting locks, so where does he fit in, with Higgers & Delve? Factor in the Pocock rumour too.

    I don't know the motive behind this is, perhaps an insight into what has happened with Saffy? Collins could be just cover for the season, on the bench.

    I really just don't see the point in trying to get a former All Black who is passed his used by date, instead of developing Australian players

    I agree Tigger, maybe a few years ago he would have been a great acquisition.But with what they have already I only see him a surplus to requirements.
    Stick with the youngsters, a better option in many ways.

    The same Caleb Ralph who played one game at the end of the season to cover for a lot of injuries?And he was playing in the local club comp. Big big difference there.

    lol are you seriously putting the two on the same level? A one game contract after a litany of injuries as opposed to Collins getting signed on a full contract for a minimum of 12 months

    picked up? Played him once off the bench in the last game of the season once we'd already qualified for the finals, having signed him on a short term contract to cover for injuries?

    And Radike? He's Australian. He was playing club rugby in Sydney. And went on to play for Australia the next year.
