Brisbane Grammar School capped off a fantastic year with an inspirational win away from home in front of an enormous crowd at Jack Ross Oval, beating Nudgee College in the premiership decider 37-24. Supporters turned up in force from both sides and some great conditions had everyone raring to go for a great game of schoolboy

The footage was excellent capturing a high quality game. What struck me was the speed of recycling possession leading to numerous line breaks. This eventuated on the fringes thru pick and drives and out wide.
It was all Nudgee early but some crucial innocuous errors let Grammar back into the contest.
Overall showed up why schoolboy 1st XV footy is usually a superior spectacle compared to test matches.
