Bit of ordinary planning that it's on at the same time as the Broncos match.

Sure, it's a different code but there's not much else on sports wise in Brisbane this weekend and we've still managed to produce a clash.

The Broncos play 90% of their matches on Friday night. They can F*^k off back to their usual time slot

Well the NRL draw for the full season was released on 19/10/2017 so this is a clash that could have been pretty easily avoided if NRC planners had bothered to check it.

Is it just me or do the teams this season seem especially strong? Above and beyond previous seasons. Hopefully that's a positive signs of things to come.

Indeed, and the NSW teams should hopefully be more competitive since the cull.

The Force squad is possibly the weakest, but they'll benefit from having had a great deal more time than the other teams together.

Although the Vikings team don't look as strong as last year in some positions - lost a few good props in Sione, Lloyd, Mayhew, Erasmus and Alexander....... and lacking in 7's with Cusack taking a break.

Anyways, the quality of the comp, on paper, looks pretty good.

Yeh wcr and more polished feel to the broadcasts - super charged nrc to be positioned as national domestic competition around wsr and super rugby with many of those teams then involved in nrc outside of nz and sa. Would make sense.

Also footy top notch for those who saw qld country vs Canberra and Fiji drua against rising (rising with their stars should have been good but let’s not go there).

Be interesting to see how many reds supporters come out to see Quade play.

Thanks force fan the interview podcast with Tim Sampson they should do for other team coaches and post on social media sites like this as great cheap way to promote interest and fan engagement. Really impressed with how the force have gone about subtle marketing and fan engagement with the stuff they have been doing this year trying different things. Let’s face it rugby compared to product been stale on the entertainment product front and you only have to see what has happened with cricket with things like big bash to see how such innovation gets rewarded.

Terrible decision.............

Waqavulagi had a legitimate attempt at an intercept, couldn't control the ball and it was deemed a intentional knock on, penalty and yellow card.
