Well if its not possible I'm out of ideas then - free Krill oil for life???

You could certainly work out a deal whereby he plays 7s from the end of this Super Rugby season so he is part of the qualifying tournament in November, plays 7s in 2016 and hopefully goes to the Olympics then Japan in the 2016/17 offseason so he can make some money then back to the Reds in 2017.

He'd miss the 2016 Super Rugby season but he'd get to go to the Olympics and still get paid well by playing a season in Japan.

Maybe the longer term solution for Ant Fainga'a is to transition him into the Reds defensive coach.

He's always been an excellent technical defender and communicator in the backline. His issue now is that his pace is falling away so he's dropping off tackles and getting out of position which shouldn't affect his ability to coach.

yes, his concussion must be a problem.

Having him remain in the program would be great. Even as a backs equivalent to Brad Thorn for the young guys.

Is he slower or is it more a case that in years gone he had the confidence in the backline around him so he could fully commit to bolting out of the line to make those tackles? Where as now he is in two minds? Haven't watched enough to tell.

I think there is a loss of pace across the entire squad.

Was so evident against the Crusaders, they just opened up holes, the Reds defenders weren't even making contact and once the Saders got past the line it was try time. S&C must be to blame here, the whole squad looked slow.

I think Fainga'a has been one of the biggest problems in defence so it is definitely down to him.

No one should make defensive errors because they're trying to cover for other people. You have to get your own house in order first.

Jono is so under appreciated in my books. Matt lucas was always going to have issues stepping up to super just because of his size, but his few appearances for the tahs he played well

Radike also won a top14 premiership as well if im not mistaken? Considering he was never a 'star' player he has had a pretty unreal career the old boy. Probably got one of the best and most replayed tries of all time to his name as well.

A shit score-line, but James Hanson was outstanding tonight!! A great pick up by the Rebels, but spewing he's left QLD for next year. Wish him all the best.
