While I’m on a roll praising people, how good is Hamish Stewart playing? We could have been done and dusted by half time if he hadn’t shut a couple of attacks down.

What impresses me also is the amount of work he does off the ball. I think a lot of that goes unnoticed.

Yeah- you'd have to think if Kuridrani is the favourite for 13, Stewart has to be the best option for 12. I'd argue in better form than Matt Toomua (who admittedly might be seen as more of a 10).

Really enjoyed this game. Well done Red's on a good win. You had me worried in that first 20mins or so.

Too true and should have been a penalty to the Reds. I think, though, that the Bulls went on to score one of their tries from this miss by the officials.

Had a horror start, but improved as the game went on. Missed a one-on-one tackle and fell off another allowing the ball carrier to continue to make progress, both in the first five minutes of the game. Then at about 8 minutes, came in off his man in defense leaving Hegarty to face two attacking players on his own.

Not yet near a national spot.

He actually missed a few tackles early, but was very good again.

Lock for Wallabies 12 in my opinion.

But lets belt the Brumbies at Suncorp first.

I think Simone has shown more, last season and this, than Stewart.

Still i suspect it'll end up being 10. Toomua 12. JOC or the reverse.

He's an asset on restarts, his lineout improved a lot & his link play, support & off loads were outstanding tonight. He definitely has a lot of work to perfect his breakdown work. But this was his best game in maroon!

I'd be very happy with reverse. JOC is a revelation at 10 in his third coming. He's underplaying his hand & controlling the game. Plus Toomua has always been at his best in 12.

Yeah, at this stage I don't see Stewart making the Wallabies.....

On form it's Simone, and on experience it's either Toomua or JOC... probably JOC, as Toomua has been more impressive at 10.

Lukhan Salakaia-Loto is in a rich vein of form, better in 2nd row but continuing at 6, killing it in tight & out wide. He's an important part of this team & will be for the Wallabies. Well done young man. Hope the enforced Covid break doesn't stymie progress.

I think JOC has played OK at times, but purely on form he wouldn't make the cut... in fact, he hasn't looked too convincing against decent opposition.

Lolesio definitely has a bright future, but I'd be thinking bench at best for RC or Euro tour. I just see Toomua as a pure 12, outside JOC I think outstanding. All pending a pandemic of course.
