Round 13 Lions Vs Waratahs

Up the Guts

Steve Williams (59)
Very strange refereeing. "I'm not keeping a count but there have been a few up this end." Isn't that your job? The Lions have hardly been inside the 22 this half anyway. Just bizarre.

Seconds is going to stitch the Tahs up here, worst ref in super rugby. It's actually hos first game in charge since the Rebels game. Don't really understand how he could be given another Lions home game.

lol, even the saffa commentators have called him out for the tackled call at the maul. kafe-esque levels of rationalisation by the saffa commentators save the day though ......

^^^Tahs getting the warning for repeat infringement in the 22 was funny. Lions had not been I. The 22 all half

Ref was average, but it went both ways...........

Lions deserved to lose for not taking the points on offer in front of the posts with 5 mins to go.

Seriously bad, he was worse in the Rebels game cause it was a lot bigger gap he had to claw back for the home side.

No surprise he did not make the world cup panel anyway.

Very entertaining game. Lots of running rugby, great offloads by both sides.

Lions kept knocking back the penalty goals reminded me of Tahs 2014.

Shame the Tahs lost. I thought they played well.

The Rebels lost that match on their own.

Again, Seconds wasn't great, but there were questionable calls both ways.

Well there were only a maximum of 2 questionable calls against the Lions going by the 13-2 penalty count.

The ref was atrocious but it was for both sides. Not just penalties but other calls as well.
Hanigan was lucky with a high shot while the lions had some forward passes and knock on calls that I thought were ok.
I believe that this ref should put to lower comps to gain more experience.

Sorry for all the scripting with this, I can't seem to get rid of it

He should be sacked for that.

Only reasons he should ever do that is to prevent serious injury or death.

That is disgraceful.

I think that this was one of the better games that the Tahs have played. Went back to their strengths. They ran the ball and had their quick offloads. I loved Rob Simmons try. And the lead up to Phipps one was also class.
