Springbokke put out their strongest team. Great from Meyer.

Sarcasm?

Pretty sure IF we lead by 30 at halftime(IF, because Japan), he'll unload pretty much the whole bench.

The quarter-final is 9/10 days after tomorrow's game, so these players will need to play a bit now. If we were playing on the weekend, I'm sure the team would look a bit different.

Nah no sarcasm. Our players need matches. Glad he play his best team.

and hoping for more running and less kicking.

Yes, vs. USA definitely. After that, a more balanced approach is needed.

And I can bet you if we make the semi vs. NZ, it will be nothing like as open as the last 3 matches at Ellis Park.

Lets beat USA first. This tournament its one game at a time.

Flo is the most important player in our squad. Hopefull he will improve as we go along.

The USA are playing a mostly B team (saving players for Japan), so I expect South Africa will crush them. Pretty sure all but 2 or 3 of the starting 15 are amateurs or sevens players.

The plan I would imagine would be to be 20 to 30 up by the break and empty the bench.

Less than 3 hours to go - slightly nervous. If we can find a way to lose this one as well, we could be out of the world cup...

Only took Schalk Burger 1:30 to try to unscrew someone's head. Didn't he do something similar to a lion once to save a baboon it was attacking?
