If you're so confident, name themWrong.
Its a school - if they cant afford to stage it they should either stop giving away money to sportmen, hock the hyperbaric chamber or have another rah rah rugby lunch.
Its very tacky.
Theres no double standard here as you would see if you bothered to look: as soon as I became aware that mercenary. tasteless behaviour had reached a new low I started a thread. Waste some more of your time and search for it.
There's also no righteous indignation - as I've said before if i needed to feel better by having a connection to a more rugby oriented school I'd switch schools. I dont need my thrills watching my child or my old school "achieving" rugby premierships.
They can afford it. I repeat, sound financial management. Or perhaps they could stop giving money to academics and musicians also and spread the load. I believe the hyperbaric chamber is funded by a major University as part of a PhD programme. The Scots Rugby Support Group will hold another successful lunch next year as will the support groups of most GPS schools as discussed in the GPS thread.
If you'd bothered to look at your own anti-Scots thread, you would've seen I did comment. Scots is not my old school. I chose Scots, and rejected my GPS alma mater, because of it's well rounded programme. I'm more than happy with my choice, and more importantly, so is my son.
