"Evergreen Ruan Pienaar added to his legend and is one of six Cheetahs in our Currie Cup Team of the Tournament, writes Quintin van Jaarsveld.

Pienaar played a pivotal role for the Free Staters all season, shifted from scrumhalf to flyhalf to get them out of a late regular season slump and scored 10 points in their 25-17 win over the Pumas in Saturday’s final in Bloemfontein.

The 88-Test Springbok and Cheetahs MVP is our Player of the Tournament and is joined by five of his triumphant teammates. The rest of our team consist of three Pumas, three Sharks, a pair of Bulls and a Griquas standout....

WF Team Announcement

Force head coach Simon Cron said: “The main aim of the tour is to give our wider squad opportunities to play more rugby and to give some standout club and Academy players exposure to a higher level of rugby.

“On this tour we can trial some new combinations within the squad. We also get to give some players a test at a higher level of rugby so we can get a good understanding of where they are in their development.”

Harry Potter excellent first showing with WF.
Williams doing a good job as captain.
Pack holding it's own against a much bigger bunch.
Good defensive effort.
Good 1st half.
