Suggest there are a few clubs sweating on whether their 2020 jerseys will arrive from China before the season openers.

Been assured our charity jersey will be here. So that's something.

Thanks Eeyore but I think we'll be 'right.

I remember 6 months ago when our 2nd grade failed to turn up to play Beecroft but we had a 3rds, Colts and Firsts. Like I've said before, commitment is the problem not numbers.

Have to admit, I'm starting to break a sweat. Might be breaking out the old stuff.

3rd grade forfeited that day too champ.

Yeah yeah, we've got 91 registered players, heard it all before. 60 of them are 1-2 game ring ins.

If numbers aren't a problem at a club forfeiting multiple grades regularly, that will actually do me.

Behind the change room sheds by the sound of it. Fight Fight fight

P.S Traitor, can you report on Forest numbers as I am hearing from multiple sources that early season numbers are causing angst amongst the clubs administators.

They should come and talk to us about how we've managed to sustain such high playing numbers over the last few years.

Have heard the same about Forest though. They could be looking at a disastrous season in Div 1.

Can't comment on earlier in the season because last night was my first visit this year. But numbers were really good, looked like close to 150 people and a really good vibe. Lots of front rowers which is a change, Forest have had the best scrum in the comp for a while but have relied on a handful of good props for a long time.

The concerning thing is the missing 1st grade players who won the premiership last year. Some were there, but many weren't. Not time to panic as lots of those guys don't turn up until trial games, but worth keeping an eye on.

Some of the former Colts graduating and probably pushing for 1st spots which is good for the club, those guys have been dominant for a few years.

So, yesterday I find out most Subbies clubs don't appear in Rugby Australia's "Find A Club" tool online because we don't use Rugby Xplorer. FFS

Yeah, Forest did have a great turnout on thursday. Esp since we're back at training at Melwood, which we couldn't entirely for a bit, so people who didn't want to train on a biting insect ridden council reserve turned up. We were still getting regular 45-65ish during that displacement early on as well.

Oh and that 45-65 a session on badly kept away ground in the early preseason was with the 7s boys pulled from regular training for their own as well. so yeah after thursday's turnout I wouldn't panic.

Google My Business is a fully validated entry that goes on the public map for everyone to find. Strict rules including registered name and physical location that can receive mail (no PO Box). If you are the designated owner of the business entry you can generally edit the information within the rules.
The maps I created uses manually entered data off a spreadsheet which can only be seen via the links. You can’t search for these entries via Maps.

I see they have the draws for the top 3 divisions live on the subbies sites. At this stage they have the draw for the first 2 rounds for 4th division which looks like it will be a 7 team competition. Balmain starting with a home clash against Sydney Irish will certainly be an interesting clash!

Seems a bit weird they would go ahead with only 7 clubs and do 2 rounds for 1 grade.

Would say that thirds is sketchy for that division right now. Still got a month to sort it out

Div 4 is still a work in progress

Yep. There is a question mark over a club filling that 8th slot, and the majority of clubs there would only have 2 Grades regularly.

Makes a 5th Division with 2 Grades a much tougher prospect if one club goes up.

Have asked Subbies for clarification on competition/trials status. Things getting fairly serious out there in Covidia.

I'd say it's almost certain there will be some impact. It's only a matter of time before there is a confirmed case with one of the clubs.

Has there been a cancelled season since WW2?
