If you have Foxtel IQ, you can use the "Catch up" function to download and watch the show if you missed it.

Hard to believe that anyone in Rugby Promotions actually seriously contemplated such an impractical item for the supporters.

We need to think of lateral solutions to promote the game, but the person who thought up that idea seems to have a rather loose grip on reality. Lucky that there appears to be some sensible people running the Gold Brigade.

How are the Face book numbers looking?

The berets for the French series were a good idea.

Headwear provides the maximum exposure vs size of the item and is a minimum imposition on fans.

Unlike the pith helmets from the Lions tour they also look decent enough to reuse.

Still annoyed I didn't get one!

I had one, but gave it to a mate with TPN's signature on it. Kinda wish I still had it :(

Logistically much easier to handle as well.

Dealing with T-shirts can be a nightmare. Multiple sizes, finding the right size etc. Then there's usually too many of one size and not enough of another.

No different than any other environment where you have to collaborate. Have to decide whether to play the game or not. Don't do it half arsed otherwise you're better staying out of it.

Episode 2: The Rugby Map of Sydney - Classic

Use your imagination as to where the boundaries are, but Sydney is broken up into 5 zones:
    1. The Insular Penninsula
    2. Tweed Jackets & Audis
    3. Latte Sippers
    4. Those who've endured Todd Carney
    5. Polynesians and True Blues

Don't wear 'em all at once, your brain, like your nuts, doesn't like to be too hot.
    Now, about that spa...

Episode 3 of The Call of the Wallaby.

James Swan showed a photo of the Australian U16 Merit Team from the 2006 National Under 16 tournament. He waved his hand over some of the players and mumbled something about this one and that one kicking on to the Wallabies.

G&GR Archives to the Rescue. From the Oz Schools 2008 Thread:
We know where some of these have ended up. In terms of rugby, what has happened to the rest?

Sean Maloney shouldn't use the Daily Telegraph as his standard for bloody sport. The Telegraph has always been massively pro-League (and pro trash in terms of it's main "news").

Generally the sport gets a better run in the Herald.

Also, in terms of the game's "imagine problem" that it's too boring and based on penalties, I feel that this is partly a problem with people just not getting what rugby is actually about; the contest for possession.

I've had this argument with League fan mates of mine, and it does my head in, but they just can't let go of the penalties thing.

I think your interview may have ended on the cutting room floor. I think I've seen all of the episodes so far. With one episode to go which should be a wrap up of Saturday's efforts, I'm not sure that G&GR is going to get a gig in the show. Shame.
