I think it will between the two opensides Pocock for the RWC & Hooper for the Rugby Championship.

Would be cool if it ended in a draw.

Pocock would have earnt a squillion during the world cup and the wales tests, same for Digby. I'd love to see Hooper get it though, he's been amazing :)

How about Sharpie? He'd be in hot contention for sure.

Only if we're talking about a career achievement award. He's had some fine matches but also some error-prone and penalty-riddled ones.

Hooper, says I.

Yeah I can't see Hooper winning, there were 14 games played before he even came on the scene.

Thinking Pocock, from Genia, McCabe, Ioane, Hooper and JOC (James O'Connor).

Pocock was our best up untill the Rugby Championship where Hooper was the best by a country mile. BamBam might sneak it, but it looks to be a two horse race.

I think it will be close with Pocock 1st & Hooper 2nd.

Pocock by 6 votes.
Come on everyone have a punt, who wins & by how many votes.

Barnes will have scored a fair few points against the welsh (both2011 and 2012) and early TRC games.

Should it be a back or a forward?? Hard to say it should be a back given how not dangerous out attack has been. Then again I've pointed to finger at the forwards a lot this last 12months for not fronting up and getting front foot ball.

It will be pocock. Hooper has not been around long enough to win this.

Pocock
Daylight
Barnes
Genia
Ioane
Sharpe
Hooper
everyone else
Quade

If I count right, there are 20 games that score and Hooper played in 6 or 7. Even if he gets the max in every game, and he definitely won't in the last game after his brain snap, he still won't score enough. Pocock had 14 games and did have a few totally dominant games in that lot so he is a good bet. But someone like Ioane, who I think played almost all of them, or Sharpe, TPN, AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) could sneak up on him by virtue of lack of injuries.

Given the impact injuries have over a twelve month season, I reckon it might be fairer to allow players to drop their lowest 20% of scores from the count.

Pocock deserves it by a mile, despite the fact he only played in 70% of the games this year.

It is interesting that the ARU haven't released the preliminary 1/2 way count as a teaser like they did last year.

On that basis, the Jarse money is on Bam Bam with daylight second, as many have already intimated.

Will the winner of the wonderfully laminated certificate representing the overall leader in the G&GR MOM awards also be counted down tomorrow night?

Do we have a Gaggerland snout attending the Nobody dinner with the said laminated certificate ready to present to OUR winner?

Upon closer inspection I'm going for Barnes and Pocock. Can't split them.

Barnes would've picked up a lot during the Welsh series and Russia in the RWC and Wales in Cardiff
