Well here it is. Two rugby posts holding up half a rugby ball that can be filled with beer. The last bit is critical.

what is noticable is that there are no reference to who is competing (i.e. no country emblems), I guess that gives the option to bring other countries in or kick out others without having to get a new trophy

Clearly done by the same agency that did Super Rugby. This looks better IMO.

I look forward to drinking out of it, and if I can put in a request for beer and not vodka red bull that would be just great

Looks like something from that Hahn Super Dry commercial.

    arty dribble

How about a decent "Bledisloe -style" trophy = Massive and worth winning

This looks like it was drawn and designed in a cafe strip whilst eating fat free cake with sugar free icing and herbal tea

THE Rugby Championship trophy was unveiled yesterday by SANZAR boss Greg Peters. It was made in Sydney and according to Peters on Twitter, holds "eight pints". We'll go out on a limb and suggest that's not gonna be enough Greg.

Good looking trophy. If compare it to the Super Rugby trophy, there are some similarities, perhaps to indicate both trophies are for southern hemisphere rugby, but distinct enough for the different competitions.

Not as big when you actually see it in person, especially when compared to the Tri Nations and the Bledisloe. But very modern to reflect the times of when TRC began.
