According to our local Boer Newspaper Todd will stay on at the Lions

He will play for the Eagles under Eddie OSullivan in the Churchill Cup against England & Argies and will miss the Lions CC opener and will be back 12 July.

He said he cant wait to play in the CC and know it will be a dogfight and hope he can hold on to the 7 jersey. Also had his first hunting trip and cant speak enough of SA.

Enjoyed his last game against the B&I Lions and for some reason Andy Powell dont want to exchange jerseys after the match but recieved a shield which he will ponder for years to come.

The Lions will be keen to hold on to their Yank, make no mistake

Powell wouldn't swap the guernsey.. no love in that.

Maybe he knew that he could ebay his Lions shirt for 5x what he could for Todd Clever's.

No surprise that he wants to stay in SA.. The women like big men over there and there's no rugby to speak of back in the US that would compare to the CC. He may never go home

Oh and on the jersey thing, I lost my respect for Powell now. Arsehole. Because if there was one player that deserve his opponent players jersey in that game, it was him.

Yeah Powell looks like a bit of a twat. Isn't there a Jones in Wales somewhere who is better than him?

Think he played last night Alwyn Jones or something.

Ryan Jones is one, and there are probably 5 more and maybe a couple of Davies as well.

Unortunately Ryan had a bit of a shocker this year and Powell had a couple of good games for Cardiff when Rush was out and he has built a bit of a reputation based on efforts in 2nd rate EDF games more than in tight international matches.
