Dismal Pillock

Simon Poidevin (60)
Squeaky bumhole time if you're the bloke who whacked $100 on the 'canes midweek..

hell yeah Blues were still up 15-14 at 60th minute. Then Hurricane Perenara subbed on (god the ginge 9 was shit) and wreaked utter devastation everywhere he went.

not bad from the Blues.

Rieko on the wing kept lamb quiet.
Kaino battled away, damaging d in spurts
Taramai, who knew, maybe he's found his feet at 7. Although some dumbo penalties blotted his copybook

PT though, Paper Tiger, got owned by Lousi and Evans

Tana still has to rest both Ioane's for 2 games. There's only about 3 games left in the whole fucken season. Shit is going to fall right the fuck apart then

Perofeta is pretty good, he's got to be one of the biggest positives for Blues supporters this season. He and beating the other conference leaders away from home although that's mainly a reflection of how bad the other conferences are.

Agree Up, he sure looks like he could show what everyone was saying he is capable of in a couple of years!

Not sure I agree. He might be Super quality one day but he doesn't show the spark that Barrett and Mackenzie showed when they first came in. Maybe like Mo'unga he'll have a growth spurt.

Many of his involvements are downplayed by the fact that he’s playing in the Blues. Look at his solo try against the Sharks, or the try he set up last week against the Tahs when he stepped Hanigan. He slips through holes very easily but no one is really paying attention when the it’s just the Blues losing another game at home.

It doesn't get a whole lot better for the Bloos:

R14: Crusaders (Home but does it matter?)
R15: BYE
R16: Rebels (H)
June window
R17: Reds (H)
R18: Hurricanes (A)
R19: Crusaders (A)

Re: Dismal's point about resting the Ioane Bros, does the bye count? Either way I wouldn't bother playing them next week unless Shag wants them to & if the bye doesn't count there's probably not much point playing them v Rebs, either.

Yep fair enough Hawko, I think he looking pretty good for a kid, he wasn't really meant to be starting until next year, and unlike DMac he starting his career at 10, without the space of 15. While I not saying he is going to be a superstar, I just think he will be a very good 10, and that will do me !

Chiefs also have an ugly run home:

R13: Stormers (A)
R14: Sharks (A)
R15: Waratahs (H but just off the plane from SA)
R16: Crusaders (H)
June window
R17: Highlanders (A)
R18: Brumbies (H)
R19: Hurricanes (H)

Highlanders not much better:

R13: Lions (H but only got back from SA on Wednesday)
R14: Waratahs (A)
R15: Reds (A)
R16: Hurricanes (H)
June window
R17: Chiefs (H)
R18: Crusaders (A)
R19: Rebels (H)

Hurricanes have a slightly easier road:

R14: Reds (H)
R15: Crusaders (A - virtual NZ Conference final)
R16: Highlanders (A)
June window
R17: Brumbies (A)
R18: Blues (H)
R19: Chiefs (A)

Crusaders degree of difficulty somewhere above 'canes but below Tribe or Clan IMO:

R14: Blues (A)
R15: Hurricanes (H & must-win)
R16: Chiefs (A)
June window
R17: BYE
R18: Highlanders (H)
R19: Blues (H)

At this point I'd rate the 'canes slight favorites to win the Conference but it's gunna be tight!
