Provincial(top)
Kieran Longbottom was a key find for the Western Force in 2008. As the only born-and-raised West Australian in the full-time squad, Longbottom earned a surprise call-up to the reserve bench for a must-win late-season clash with the Chiefs at Subiaco Oval. Entering the match after just ten minutes, he never looked out of place against one of the competition’s elite front-row units. He is the first locally produced West Australian player to be awarded a Super 14 contract.
