Matt, I’ve started a new discussion forum at The Rugby Blog. Would be good to get a bit of banter going with some of your aussie readers!

Nice work on your blog, I’ve been keeping an eye throughout the World Cup and resisted the temptation to gloat after the quarter final (until now!!).
Cheers,
James
Awesome post there Matt
For any Poms still crapping on that it should have been a try (forget that Percy being pushed in the back which should have been a yellow card…)
This picture clearly shows his left foot in touch, BEFORE his right elbow hits the ground. When you look at the front on footage you’ll see that his right elbow hits the ground an instant before the ball is grounded. Ergo, no try.

Mosey you moron no Englishman IS ‘crapping on’. That’s the point, we let our rugby do the talking not our offials and overpaid rugby league converts. In fact we behave how the Aussies USED to behave. Where did it all go so wrong for you guys?
Why are these Poms all anonymous..?
Christ; why do so many of you live to complain..? You’re not happy unless you’re telling us you’re unhappy. It’s in your DNA. We all thought it was because you come here and the sun’s too bright, the birds are too noisy, the women’s teeth are too white etc-etc.
Robbie Williams next album should be “Whinge when you’re winning”…
Hi Coatsie – good rant, but as per you’ve missed the point. To reiterate, no one has complained about the try, the decision has beeen accepted, SA congratulated on winning the RWC, everyone’s gone home happy.
As for as birds being too noisy and girls having white teeth, I’m not sure who from the English RFU has complained about that?
