High praise indeed

No GravatarThe only thing we’re more grateful for than the odd ‘well done’ we get on the website is when you buy a frikken T-shirt. But amongst the ‘onyas’ this one that came through this week stood out:

Just a quick note to say what great job you guys do. GAGR is one of my top 6 sites I visit each day. I have been follwoing the blog and downloading the podcasts for a while and I really enjoy the candour and honesty of your collective (including some of your regular forum members) comments. But what I love the most is the passion that I see daily for Australian Rugby.

I am a Kiwi in China, so your site is great for keeping up with what is going on. Of late I have been enjoying Scott Allens review of the wallabies, I only hope, for the rest of the worlds sake, that the Aussie coaching staff don’t see his analysis…it is on the money.

Anyway, I have finally registered today, so I may in the future make a comment. Enough from me.

In closing, love the site, keep up the good work…I only wish we had a site as half as good as this dedicated to the ABs (for some reason I can’t find anything).

Yours in rugby

Simon Rangiwhia

How good is that? Surely could only be better if Murray Mexted had written it himself (as we all know Murray has trouble with spellings and such).

Anyway, thanks Simon, thoughts like this is why we started G&GR in the first place — even if yours have come from the wrong side of the ruck!

Great to see – we must be doing something right! Onya indeed Simon

It’s really a huge credit to all the front page guys – the stuff on here is top notch.

  • boutbloodytime

From an Aussie in Italy, I second that!

Top job guys, cos it’s bloody difficult to find quality opinion & analysis anywhere on the web, let alone here in Italy…and prior to that I was in the UK for 5 years, where I was stuck with listening to Stuart Barnes commenting on rugby online via Sky UK (he makes Kearnsy sound like a genius) & Sean Fitzpatrick talking up the ABs while Michael Lynagh was forced to eat humble pie…

In comparison, while saying what we’re all thinking & providing quality analysis to illustrate the woes & provide various solutions, you guys are like a cold beer on a Friday afternoon…bloody awesome, so thanks again!

oh and makers of the finest beer stubbies i ever did own too!

  • Robson

Hope to see Simon on the pages soon.

Wrong side of the ruck??? No such thing when you’re a kiwi. You can buy invisibility cloaks on every street corner in kiwiville. I wish Robbie would bring some back with him after visiting family.

I second his words though. Great job fellas, great site.

From an Aussie living in Cambodia I third that (thirding is possible?). You guys get a fair chunk of my working day, very lucky to be in a job where I can label it ‘research’.

    Keep up the tops work!

Love the Photo…I feel God like…now I know how Richie feels.

I stand by my comments that lead to this post. I love the passion displayed here, its brilliant.

I should have started my comment here with….”Long time lurker, first time poster….”
