Podcast 291 – The Fine Line Between Pleasure and Pain

Rugby Reg, Hugh and Matt are back for the final podcast of the Ireland series, and go over what could have been for the Wallabies, before touching on the coming weekend of Super Rugby.

The Five Burning Questions:

1. Did that final test live up to the hype?
2. What do you rate the Wallabies out of ten?
3. What were the key take-aways for the whole series?
4. How does this series set us up for the Rugby Championship?
5. What’s happening this weekend in Super Rugby?

Note: There were a couple of sound issues with Hugh’s voice on this recording.

  • D. Braithwaite’s The Brumbies

Very good performance, boys. Definitely scored higher than the 6-7 the Wallabies earned :P

Spot on Matt about the TMO’s. We do not watch the game to nit pick any indiscretion.

I’m currently building a house with a council certifier and the guy pulls apart any document i send in and goes through everything with a fine tooth comb searching for a fault. Bit of a random segway But it feels like a similar thing. Here’s the job, looks good. Get on with it. Life’s not perfect, the game is great, lets not get bogged down in this obsession with finding faults. Ha. or maybe ive just got ptsd

Was this one recorded in a washing machine using a potato as the microphone?

    • Yep – that’s why we’re globally known as podcast innovators.

Would you say that you are the world’s foremost experts in podcasting and podcast related media development? Because I don’t think that’s too much of a stretch.

Cavill’s introduction this week of doing the dishes while recording was inspired.

  • RobC

Thanks chaps. Good to hear the three of you again. Best comment was Matt’s response re Brums v Canes

    • Let’s hope I’m wrong – happens often!
