you also forgot the dotted line report from Rocky to the head of Centre of Corporate Culture, Education and Excellence.

You’ve missed one of our long-term favourites for complete obscurity and unclarity:

    Skills Coach.

Very timely I mention this as it was R Graham’s title in the period he contributed manfully to the major escalation in Wallaby skills (which ones you must guess) in the 2009-2010 period.

      RH,
I now look forward to 2013 simply to read your critiques of Richard Graham when he gets hold of the Reds. Structurally, it will be interesting to see if Link can hand the clipboard over. Look at Collingwood as an example where this has not happened as seamlessly as all parties would have hoped.

    Haha classic

Liking the clarity in the structure. And I do agree that Rocky needs to be boxed into a Centre of Corporate Culture, Education and Excellence role. Although I believe the “Corporate Culture” tag may not cover the whole experience as Rocky would be delving into areas such as Marxism, Feminist Ideology and Post Modernism in order to bring out the potential in the modern rugby player.

What I am not getting though is the committee structure and how the ARU successfully guides the franchises through the use of excellent committee work. i.e. the Pecking Order Committee would have a flow on affect in the Central and Outer Leadership groups.

A very good start but much more granularity really needed for us to win more super titles through committee work and have that lead into bringing Bill home in 2015.

Need to have a “KPI attainment consultant” to ensure talent isnt lost when the team doesnt meet superstars own KPI’s.

There is the Triangular Consultative Committee for Branding and Body Hair.

It has a three way Chairmanship/Membership of Beal, Bieber and Cooper.

I think everyone has to report to them…

    Psychological coach/consultant?

Waterboy? Surely you have to include them – they have somehow morphed into integral components of the coaching structure now. I wouldn’t be surprised if in 20 years it’s the most respected and highest-paid job of all of them!

    (social) Media Liaison
    - though not strictly a coaching position, will sit on the chart between Director and Specialist coaches to ensure enough time is allotted during training, team meetings, warm-ups, half-time, press conferences etc to keep their followers abreast of their every rumination.

corporate communications – to make sure corporate’s world cup fuck ups are not communicated to the paying public.

How about Sharon Flahive’s whispers of adrenaline?

Shes gotta be on a shortlist for some mysterious corporate upgrade?

One of the wonderful things about Australian rugby is that it never takes itself too seriously. The authors of such a chart in the Fyfedom that is All Black rugby (where a sense of humour is sacrilege) would be burnt at the goal posts on Eden Park.

Isn’t there a Brumbies coaching performance review committee comprising of Adam Ashley Cooper sitting above the head coaching role, and a Wallabies coaching performance review committee comprising a rubber stamp sitting below the head coaching role?

  • Tedward

    what about work/life balance consultant?

  • Noisey

I think you also missed out the Director of Family Services, currently headed by John Mumm?
