Rugby Report Card 74 – Within Nine is a Close Game

All the boys are back together to dissect the opening round of the Super Rugby Season plus Blake had the pleasure of interviewing Lachlan McCaffrey during the week.

This has got to be the first time in history I’ve heard that Fox, or anyone in the Aussie media outside of perhaps Queensland papers, had a bias FOR Quade Cooper.

I love you guys, I honestly think you’ve been the best thing about Aussie rugby during this day period.

However, your bias for Foley and against Quade is your biggest blind spot. Even in 2016, when he was at his worst, every week you came on and spoke about his alleged ‘class’. Even when I went to that horrific Bledisloe with you in 2017 you weren’t condemning his play. I feel like most people’s bias for Foley is actually simply the result of their bias against Quade.

Read Nick Bishop’s article on The Roar today. He was really good. If Foley had produced a match like that, then people would still be squawk about it in four years, just like they have his performance vs England in the RWC, which has reached almost mythical proportions, despite the fact that Beale was the bigger attacking spark that game.

    P.S. I love you guys.

Nothing to do with QC no longer being with the Reds. Promise.

RRC guys, I am sorry, like DBTB below, I love your podcast. It is my island of sanity in amongst an ocean of diarrhea.

But on that last podcast your bias’s were really evident.

Also agree you guys need to get the Rugby Report Card song going again.
