Story idea in view of what more than a couple of people viewed as poor refereeing: Any discussion on who Green and Gold adherents think are the best 3 officals in test rugby? (Is that kind of like being the world’s tallest midget?)
Nominations for a best themed XV every week, eg: superhero XV, politician XV, cartoon character XV, celebrity XV etc. Always seems to provide great debate and is fucken funny at the same time.
Sorry was a bit vague….you nominate people of a particular theme (eg: bearded XV) into a position which you think they would suit. Eg: 15: Chuck Norris for his kicking ability; 14….13….12….11…. 10:God; 9: Jesus etc. Give each character a reason why they should be selected in each position. Another UK rugby blog tried it once or twice and was pretty funny but they never really ran with the idea past 2 or 3.
