Haha yeah as commercial as the black eyed peas are, it suited the mood better. Guess you can’t suit everyone!

A Man and his son were once going with their Donkey to market. As they were walking along by its side a countryman passed them and said: “You fools, what is a Donkey for but to ride upon?”

So the Man put the Boy on the Donkey and they went on their way. But soon they passed a group of men, one of whom said: “See that lazy youngster, he lets his father walk while he rides.”

So the Man ordered his Boy to get off, and got on himself. But they hadn’t gone far when they passed two women, one of whom said to the other: “Shame on that lazy lout to let his poor little son trudge along.”

Well, the Man didn’t know what to do, but at last he took his Boy up before him on the Donkey. By this time they had come to the town, and the passers-by began to jeer and point at them. The Man stopped and asked what they were scoffing at. The men said:

“Aren’t you ashamed of yourself for overloading that poor donkey of yours and your hulking son?”

The Man and Boy got off and tried to think what to do. They thought and they thought, till at last they cut down a pole, tied the donkey’s feet to it, and raised the pole and the donkey to their shoulders. They went along amid the laughter of all who met them till they came to Market Bridge, when the Donkey, getting one of his feet loose, kicked out and caused the Boy to drop his end of the pole. In the struggle the Donkey fell over the bridge, and his fore-feet being tied together he was drowned.

“That will teach you,” said an old man who had followed them:

“Please all, and you will please none”

    • Well, coulda been an ass I guess.

  • suckerforred

    Love It!

  • Reddy!

    I’ll live with it :)

  • Jnor

Much better song choice methinks. Great vid too…

Gotta love AAC at 0.30 when Bam gets the turnover on the line.

  • theduke

Great mashup Gagger – makes the Wobblies look slick. I almost feel confident for Saturday. Just don’t release the blooper real.

And the new song is better.

Although next time someone asks you to change the song, you should use

  • Thomas

Nice video but surely there was more!
You could have made a highlight video of the same length for all of Pocock’s turn overs

    • Yeah, there was, but we can only use so much from each game and keep lawyers sweet. So you’ll only see the very best bits that don’t take too much time.

  • Who Needs Melon

Mate! Stick to your guns! You start taking music requests and you’ll have to have a different version for each musical taste. You’re a dead set legend and anyone who doesn’t like it can mute it and put their own lamo music over the top. :)

    • You make a great point there WNM; about me being a legend.

This isn’t the floodgates to some jukbox democracy. Just there was something in the back of my mind unsure on the last choice.

BTW – the thrash metalists can dream on. Gagger doesn’t mosh.

      • Roo

Awwwww come on…. Bam Bam deserves Slayer as his backing track if you ever do a mash up of him.

  • From Quade Cooper on Twitter about the mashup:

we just watched ! great mash up lol needs the falcon haha

    • Farva

      Exactly, where was the falcon!

  • Scoot

It’s not often you watch highlights and just marvel at the passing. QC’s pass in the move for the Beale try is beyond belief. Can’t watch that try enough.

    • Dogman

I agree. Not enough credit to QC’s phenomenal passing game. It is still taking defenses (even solid, experienced defenses like JDV) by complete surprise. I don’t know that the surprise of it will last for much longer, but then again, I don’t know how you defend against it. Way more accurate and quicker than any cross-field kick pass.

Although his kick pass to AAC was pretty impressive too, but that then highlighted AAC’s limited stepping ability – 1 defender who was already crouched into the tackle 10m before he got there, and he still ran straight into him!

  • Lyndon

Ya, I am sure the end credits state that the clips are from the 2008 “Tri Nations” and the clip name is the best of the Tri Nations?? Since when has England been part of that comp? Is Alec C a pom maybe and couldn’t help himself…

  • Lyndon

Opps posted to wrong clip, shit.
