You don't think that Left wing is blind wing more often than not? If I have it wrong let me know, always learning. My understanding calling 11 left wing is as correct as calling 11 blind wing.

Left wing is left wing , always on the left sideline .
Blind side is the short side of the field from the breakdown or scrum , it can be either left or right.
Number 11 gets announced as left winger due to the way we write on a page ( old school ) .
The modern game has 14 as a second fullback and 11 as a rover looking for runs or a power runner. But at the end of the day we have two wingers who hopefully can do all of the above.

I'll be interested to see how Samu goes starting again, he sits out on the wing far too much for me when he plays that role at the Brumbies.

agree with Adam84, Lonergan is completely underwhelming imo, and at the moment just too small for Test footy, Kaitu'u has looked really good to me, and although biased thought Uelese did well in his appearances. cannot understand the love for Lonergan.

He hasn’t really been seagulling, more finding gaps mid field and making more than decent metres. My guess he is still earmarked for the bench but gets a shot at starting this week so that the coaches can get a look at McMahon.

Nah he hasn’t been doing it off the bench, so it‘ll be interesting whether starting changes the way he plays or not.

NRL considering delaying the GF so they can play it in front of a crowd, apparently cases in Townsville may make shifting the game up there unfeasible also.

I think regardless the TRC will continue and play without crowds if it gets any worse, they cant delay or shift it due to charter flights out already scheduled. No crowds isn't great, especially considering the game was a sell-out, but at least the game will be played.

Good on Greg Holmes for making it another cap at his age, but to what end? If we're unhappy with our current props, we should be blooding new ones. It's not as if Holmes is going to be in the next World Cup. Isn't Pone Fa'amausili worth a try?
Hell, I'd rather just let Harry Johnson Holmes have a crack at it. At least he's eager.

Can't we just reward someone for coming into camp and doing opposed work for months? It's not like he isn't up to it.

Tomás Lezana and Nicolás Sánchez are the latest out of the tournament through injuries. On the flip side Ledesma welcomes back Rodrigo Bruni and Matías Moroni for the Rugby Championship finale.

Bruni replaces Pablo Matera. The former captain and five others miss out following a preventable travel violation. He had been expected to start as had Santiago Medrano. Instead Enrique Pieretto will have his first start of the competition. Francisco Gorrissen will make his first tournament appearance of the year as flanker cover from the bench. Additional changes see uncapped props Eduardo Bello and Thomas Gallo among the replacements.

But to have a working Blind side winger probably requires that player (Koroibete) to shift from left side to right side depending on where the play is located on the field and I think he has done precisely that on occasions. Maybe you could affirm if you've noticed it too?

Harry Johnson Holmes was imprisoned in NSW so the other Holmes got his chance, this season has ended up with a few getting opportunities due to being in the right place at the right time

I've been corrected by Nomad. Still think that it tends to align that way. Either way the difference in playing intent seems locked in terms of how we are playing them. Plenty are suggesting it. Still wishing Kellaway all the best at 11.

Looks like there's some homework for a few people to study how the wingers work, how often if ever they switch where they are, drop back to play second fullback etc.

My expectation is certainly that Kellaway won't try and play the same game as Koroibete.
