Apart from Tupou's late withdrawal I don't think we were missing any more than you would for a normal test match. Tupou was a big loss and didnt play, but Sio was fit and played from the 64th minute. A step up from Gibbon ss reserve IMHO. Apart from Quade Cooper and Banks, who were our definite starting backs missing?
The world's best number 12 in Samu Kerevi.

was there much wind in the stadium? Or were they just poor kicks?
Rennie also said post match they had a light wind in their favour in the first half which is why he would have liked to see Hodge kicking up the centre rather than white box kicking.

Swap any player in that starting lineup for anyone on the bench or in the wider squad.

It won't change the fact that our ruck was back to our hold habit of simply not securing ball. Every issue we had can be traced back to the fact we didn't treasure the pill. Put all our decision making under pressure, spent most of the first half within 40m of our own line, and generally sucked when we tried to do anything.
Yeah good call, lots of poor running options getting isolated and then penalties for poor clean outs.

Can we get a stadium review from those that went? Access, egress, food and bev options, pricing and waiting times. Seating etc.

Stadium is good, food options better than before. Wider concourse so easier in and out. Drink lines ok, but not helped by 49% discount before 7:00 with massive queues and lots 0f saffas whingeing in the line.

I give it a much better rating than the wobs tbh.

Access much improved, concourse with a lot more space. Most seating dry now. Drinks not cheap, but not outrageous. Food I’d say above average through some sellouts before kickoff so quantities might need some work. Good viewing all round. Screens, lighting etc much improved.

The live Rugby experience still needs work though. Like many games they need to work on things like integrating refs mic, better signalling calls etc… the at home experience is still superior in this area. Stoppages are way too apparent too when you can’t walk to the fridge for another drink.

Too many clean turnover wins to the Saffas at the breakdown and too many penalties by the Wallabies. Seems to be the plan to not contest the breakdown but stay aligned in defence. If so, I reckon it's not working.

Also looked like the week was spent on lineout drills and everything else was forgotten. Have seen it happen many times in the past.

… and the Wallabies never looked in it. They struggled to get quick ball and rarely looked to punch the line. Some poor support play coupled with some poor decision making left players isolated too often. SA controlled the territory well. The TMO call and failure to convert the opportunity around the 60th was the game. They needed to convert then to be a chance.
